Morning - Coffee

Coffee, Coffee, muss ich haben!

Ingredients

Serves about 2 people depending on the size of the espresso maker Mild Arabica Coffee (Highland Coffee) Cinnamon* Cardamom pods or ground cardamom* Milk and sugar (to taste) UTENSILS (Coffee mill, mortar), Italian-style stovetop espresso maker, spoon, coffee or espresso cup

METHOD

Grind coffee beans finely, pour water into the bottom part of the espresso maker, insert the funnel and fill half way with the freshly ground coffee. Open the cardamom pods and crush the seeds in the mortar. Sprinkle a knife tip of cardamom and a knife tip of cinnamon over the freshly ground coffee. Then fill the rest of the funnel with coffee, screw the top part on and heat it on the stove. Serve with hot, frothy milk and sugar to taste, or drink as a classic espresso. Good morning!
